So much to catch up on!
Shawn - great sites! I'm looking into that Microsoft Live for my work's website, not thrilled with the original host site (free and you get what you pay for!)
CC - I admire you so much for going back to school. You are so brave to tackle those tests, and professors, and supplies. Good luck as your 3rd class comes into play - I'm sure you'll do great!
LUV - I just saw the 10% reminder in our local news too. I feel so bad for these kids but the 10% is just not reality these days.
d - it's gettin' a little chilly here in central NY (but no snow , YET  )
Could I take a virtual dip in your hot tub? I'll bring the snacks and drinks!!!

My official "soccer mom" cape has been put on for the season. I've mentioned the oldest into it for the last couple of years. Now, the younger LOVES it too! Maybe I should invest in a shin-guard company - they grow out of them so fast! The youngest is also very much into cooking.
Tonight's menu she's going to help me with for a rainy day:
Paula Deen's Cheesy Mac
Hot Rolls and everyone's favorite (LOL)...
Green Beans!

Keeping all those from 9/11 extra close to the heart today

Pool's great; whirlpool is great!!! Still need some things done but that's okay--the key focus is completed and now they're asking me when we want to cover it :).

Check out what Cathy wrote on Playgrounds...what a hoot and so well done!!!

Our local paper just had an article a few weeks ago on the "10% rule"-that your child's backpack should weigh no more than 10% of their body weight. My son's weighed 16 pounds-double what it should have weighed. The text books are HUGE. We were impressed with the new science books for the 8th graders though. They are broken down into units, so the kids have several small textbooks instead of one big one. Much nicer. Hope more of that comes about or we're going to have children with chronic back problems before they get to high school!

Thanks, T. My fuzzy old brain is struggling but I think I'm getting there. My third class starts next week. I'm glad I got to wade in slowly with just two classes before the third one gets piled on!

Momo3, your #2 needs a personal assistant. That's a lot of stuff to lug around! I see the same at Shorty's school. Kids are lugging bags around that are bigger than they are. I guess it's good exercise but I also see job security for chiropractors!!!

Shawn, cool PTA website. Love the Game Sanctuary site. I'm glad to see you're still working toward your gaol. It seems like an awesome program and I wish you great success with it.

Finally getting the water softener in today. Hard water sure is bad for the fixtures, the hair, skin, clothes, everything.

d - how's the pool? You're going to LOVE that jacuzzi come winter when you can sit out there on a cold snowy night. I used to love to sit in mine and watch the snow fall.

Our school has been in for two weeks now. Everything AOKAY!

Felt REALLY sorry for son #2 who is in middle school as he headed out the door this morning for the bus. Had his overly stuffed bookbag on his back, bag with red football jersey, black football jersey, white practice football jersey AND helmet, everything needed cleaned for Tuesday night first game in one hand and in the OTHER hand his trumpet. I really hope he doesn't leave anything on the bus!

Poor kid is about five foot four and only weights 103 pounds. Daughter #4 tells him that he can't play football cause those other boys are too big and he'll get hurt! HA!

As he downs a couple of shots o' tequilla, the crowd hears him mumble (or slur) I hate Microsoft, I hate Microsoft

Made our school PTA website Home (the free version is OK of MS OfficeLive (and FREE) pretty easy WYSIWYG website design (with a few things I dislike( but its doable)

Have MS OfficeLive Essentials for our Non Profit Game Sanctuary, Inc. | Home (checkout the new color scheme, etc) and the damn javascript menu wont work (not compatable??) You can only read the first page (although the links) GRRRR

Support has already gotten an earful on their last screwup- now I havta sleep (yea right) and call in the morning - at least I got a halffull bottle of tequilla and the movie 300 to watch
