Sounds like tons of fun! We just spent a very HOT Missouri night at the football game. We won 34 - 16! YEAH!!!!!!! Of course son gets in car quiet...what's up with that??? Guess they got chewed out cause the other team got 16...Whatever!

Daughter got stung by a bee before the game even started. They were EVERYWHERE!

Hey Shawn! Nice to see you. Things on page two sure aren't the same without you.

You all have great memories! The sweatshirt decorating contest was last Christmas. The Fall Birthday Bash is usually a campfire, weenie roast, s'mores kind of event. September evenings in Illinois are usually perfect for that sort of thing.

Hubby and Shorty went camping this weekend while I was out of town. They got cinnamon grahams instead of honey grahams. Shorty said they were the best s'mores he's ever had. I'll try some this weekend at the bash.

Well grandpa left and hubby is still frustrated. I think it was the fact that nana died so suddenly and gpa was dating 21 days later. I guess too knowing how selfish gpa is puts a spin on it....we'll see how time passes and what perspective this gets in a few months/years.
CC-what cool thing are you doing for the reunion...I remember last year you did something I thought was neat but now cannot remember (of course I did have a brain injury :)). Wasn't it tshirts or prizes for something. Sure it'll be a hoot.

Momo3 - I'm sorry for your heartache. Sadly, I've heard that side of the story too. For your sake and the sake of your children, I hope things work out positively.

I started my third class today. I think it'll be ok. It's two hours long but only for twelve weeks.

The big Fall Family Birthday Bash is this weekend. (We do four a year, one for each season...) Shorty is one of the Fall honorees so he's excited. He's going to be 14 years old in 10 days.

Aye yi yi! Where does the time go?!?!?! I'll blink and he'll be in high school, then college, then all grown up and out in the world. If you have little ones at home tonight, sit on the floor and play a game, or build legos, or anything. Just have fun! I know, I'm feeling extremely nostalgic tonight.....

Oh volunteer, that breaks my heart. What a sad situation. Don't give up. Keep the invitations coming and maybe even call and ask what night would be good for them to come to dinner. Put it on them-harder to get out of it then. Maybe you could even try to have a private talk with your dad about how you and the rest of your family are feeling.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
