Hehe... Yup neither we innocent.

Woa be the days of trading arms for hostages while undermining the sitting Lame Duck Dem President (Reagan) , arms for Contras (Ollie), hiring mercenaries to pluck hostages from harm (Perot).

Where have all my heroes gone.....

Now we're stuck with a weak woman (Billary), a dude who hangs with Ludacris (Obama), a womanizer (Guilliani), the Manchurian Candidate (McLain), an actor (Thompson) another IHOP waffler (Rommey) and a chorusline of idiots (Edwards, et al)

Maybe I should write a Broadway Play??? Where's Mel Brooks hiding these days (is he dead?) ?

Cool about the reading program

So now we know how Shawn feels about Bill Clinton!! Neither one of them was innocent in that scandal. Two power hungry people taking advantage of each other. There are very few people in the public eye who would be good role models for our children. Hopefully, they are paying more attention to us than the politicians, movie stars, and sports "heroes".

On a happy note: the reading program I started 3 years ago has exploded this year. 3000 kids will benefit this year!!! Now I just need enough funding to keep this going.... Anybody win the lottery lately?

I think it should be mandatory for all of the kids. My son who is in 6th grade, says he is going to take the baby when he is in 8th grade. He loves working with little kids and they always love him too.

I agree - its almost discriminatory- girls AND boys should do this..... I'll rent mine out as simulator babies. That'll drop the unwed pregnancy rate. Hmmmm New NonProfit ideas......

Monica maybe a HO but Clintons an idiot- the MOST powerful man in the wolrd picks an ugly intern - If your gonna abuse your power and be stupid (and get caught) at least be like JFK and sleep around with a beautiful Italian Mob princess and 'the Sex Symbol' Marilyn Monroe. :)

Clinton was a slacker and underacheiver even when abusing his station that is why this country has gone to hell in a hand basket- our role Political role models suck......

Wom(man) down ~ been battling a sinus infection induced by a cold and allergies. Products of the germ factory (school) and hayfever no doubt. Pa took pitty on me and ran the kids to school today. This propmted our oldest to have a crying fit ~ very emotional lately ... must be a hormone thing.
Our dog must know your cats ... chewed up her pull toy which is almost bigger than she is. Have been finding damp knawed up pieced of rope everywhere ... disgusting. Well on the bright side her toys are starting to look like my rugs around the house ~ how dare we have anything remotely new around here!
Damp dreary day here so everyone say chipper and healthy!

Hey everybody! How's it going? Thanks for the tips on childrens cooking stuff a few pages back. I'm checking those places to see what kind of stuff they bring out around the holidays for my little chef.

CC - I'll trade you your cat for mine. She's a moron. Huge, too fluffy and she thinks she's a person. She tries to grab a chair at our kitchen table as we are setting every meal...her eyes peering over the edge of the table as she sits in the chair until we shoo her out. And, she doesn't stop meowing - ever!
The things we put up with for our children....

I'm getting ready for our first snow storm. It was high 80's yesterday, gonna be 90 today. It's a sign, we're going to get blasted with snow soon. We always have to "pay" for the extra nice weather somehow.
