I was at a garage sale last week and was just giddy to find the Eagles, Meatloaf, BeeGees (I know but it was still in the orignial Columbia House BOX!!) and a few more 8 tracks! Perfect condition and I had so much fun listening to my husband's 8-track player while I finished the dressing I started stripping and refinishing....let's just say I finished it just in the nick of time of fall!
Anyway the gal having hte sale asked me if I even knew what I had (evedently I still don't look 30!) and I was so excited her husband sold me the box of twenty tapes for $5!!!!! I can't WAIT to clean the garage!!! HA!!

We just got back from the local Cider Days Festival and I was considering warming some up with a few spices for the fun of it! I might even add a splash of spiced rum.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Don't even get me started on rap. That is not music. Just someone talking to a beat. I can do that reading Dr. Suess and not offend anyone. Thank goodness neither of my kids is interested in that. Of course, I just remembered that we still need to replace our speakers. The associate pastor from our church blew them out playing Aerosmith during a party we had at the house. I know, weird scenario.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Nuthing beats "Cat Scratch Fever" or "Wango Tango", blasting on the stereo. PLus no need for that annoying 'BASS' going BUM.. BUM ..BUM.. (I hate that and most rap.)
Someone been floating rumors that Ted's gonna run for 'NRA president' then maybe 'The President'

My uncle worked for a radio station in Detroit when I was a kid, I have 100's of 8track (and a working player) plus 1000's of Vinyl, still working on moving 2 CD's (mostly I have lots of em.. burned copies of it all on a giant MP3 drive)
