Pour some champange!!! 5 days to our Autumn Carnival and things are going great!!! We have been working on it since May of last year and it looks like almost everything will be a profit. Thanks so much for the basket idea!!! The teachers and students made some beautiful baskets and I have sold $20 worth of tickets and this is just our first day. We also tried something new this year. We sell advance tickets in front of the school and give them a few free if they purchase early. It has really worked for us. I don't want to jinx it so I'll go for now and let you know how it went after the carnival.

Long week also, finished destructing our school Library (put shelves and desks in my houses NEW media room.
We lost our Parent Center to Library expansion and Full Day Kindergarten class.
:eek: Nextup-- Teacher Lunchroom expansion (plus enclose adjoining outdoor patio) for NEW Parent Center/ Teacher Lunchroom.

We planted 21 more trees Sat Oct 1st (turnout was bad 'cuz of the fires in LA and air advisory) I found a ton of :cool: Grantmakers for all kinds of Green Projects (school gardens, trees, flora, free seeds, education- working on making it a decipherable word doc).

Our bookfair is coming up (Scholastic) and our Afterschool Enrichment classes
Ceramics, Clay and other messy stuff with Shawn (need to fire up our 3yr old- once used Elec Kiln
Gardening Basics with Shawn
Death by Chocolate - I'll post a pick of my pizza made from chocolate
Gaming Club our newest addition.

Phew!!! Just stopping by for a quick break from the many things we have going right now. Last day for book fair is tomorrow, we will be finishing up our book giveaway, last day for hurricane relief program too. I still have to make copies of the spirit wear order forms and get those out. All that on top of my motherly, wifely, household, Prez, and other organization duties and I'm just about ready to jump off a cliff!!

I need a stiff drink, a 10 minute power nap, and a big dose of caffeine!!
