LUV, no slap for you. Just a hug because you're such a caring person. I think CC is right. Try to take baby steps. Going cold turkey on a habit is not for everyone.

CC, that drink would sure cure my sweet attack I get every afternoon around 3 p.m., but since I'm at work, I'll just have to settle for a mini choc. bar.

Our orientation is tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it. It's only an hour and a half long, so hopefully it will go smooth.

I'll have a table set up with posters announcing meeting dates, events, help wanted, we'll be selling license plates and license frames, taking orders for tee shirts and of course recruting new members. I hope we have a good turnout.

LUV - I'll sponsor you if you sponsor me!!!

Hang in there. Maybe the "rip the bandaid right off" approach isn't the right one for you. Take baby steps, backwards, slowly. Maybe they won't even notice until the door is closing.....

I just unpacked my martini glasses. Chocolate Martini's anyone?

Godiva Chocolate Martini
1 1/2 shots Godiva® chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 shots creme de cacao
1/2 shot vodka
2 1/2 shots half-and-half

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake and pour into a chilled cocktail glass

Okay, somebody slap me please. I did it, I printed off signs to post at registration. Nothing elaborate, I had them on my computer from last year. I just can't stop myself. Is there a 12 step program for former PTO Presidents?!

I putting two giant pitchers of margaritas on the bar-everyone help yourself!

CC- I'm sure you're right, I won't be able to stand to see things fail, so I'll jump in. I went yesterday to get everything set up for registration and no one had made any kind of promotional or informational signs for the PTO. We have a table with pamphlets and spiritwear-that's it. I was going to go home and put something together then I told myself "NO! You're not doing this!" It still bothers me a little.....

Just walkin' through the front door
Puts a big smile on my face
It ain't too far, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar

Thursday is enrollment and I get to sit at the school 8am-7pm.
I am totally unmotivated about this year. :(
I still have boxes all over my house that need to be unpacked.
I just finished a wedding cake and I couldn't find my gloves (must be in one of the boxes) so my hands have pink dye on them.
I'd make myself a drink, but that would involve finding and unpacking yet another box.
Am I pitiful or what? Would someone please make me a drink?
Thanks. :D

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
