page two......

My 2yr old is that way... He loves Dora and counting to 10 in English and Spanish.. Dont know if I'm too old or too stubborn but I just cant get it..
Yeah my wifes mom had been living with us but know maybe it wasn tsuch a good idea to send her off on her own at 55 she's been an absolute mess and now this.. The kids love having her around and are soooo dissapointed when we go and pick up her mail and are reminded she's not there but at the hospital for now.

I really like radio Dis but they've need a bigger rotation of songs 'specially if its the only station that will be on... CD's work okay at home but changing CD's constantly in the car will make me run someone over accidentally.

Hopefully we'll have our online GameStore back up soon (the Barbacking, Cleaning and prep-chef just isnt bringing in enough time worked or $$$$ -- Cant finish my computer Certs without $$$$)
School starts soon so we can resume computer classes, ceramics, game club and game demonstrations for family game night and fundraising (if the Game Manufacturers and Distibutors go for our plan) but no PTA/PTO still havent heard which school daughter gets to go to :(

Oh how I long for the days of Reaganomics ;)
My Dynasty long season team is still in the hunt for a divsion title so life is okay. Still working on Tix for ND vs USC and the Colts are Undefeated so far :D

We used to have XM but went to Sirius when we got the new truck because they are getting NASCAR next year. (I didn't want to spend the moeny twice.) We listen to Radio Disney a lot. I love all the rock stations. You can't find enough of those on local stations. They a have few country stations. Could use more, but the ones they have always play something I like. I swear our local guys just get paid to talk not play music and it drives me nuts. I only listen to local when the weather is bad.
Shawn sorry about your mom in law. My husband's grandma had a stroke 2 years ago and we have been spreading the load to try to keep her out of a home. All she says is No and she can't do much but sleep on her own. The upside is we see her so much she seems to recognize our kids and lets them hug and kiss her without the same complaint she had when people she doesn't recognize get close. My oldest asked why we work so hard for her when doctors and nurses could take care of her and when you remind them they wouldn't be here without her, it seems to hit home. I mean, how many times did she change my mother in law's, husband's, children's diapers. Having a medical backgroud, I know our struggle is worth it. For her health and grandpa's.
Just to back to the things our kids watch, my 3 year old can tell me in Spanish what number I show him up to 10 but when I say it in English, he looks like I'm crazy. By the way we are not Hispanic, so this is really funny. I mean, he should be speaking Italian or Germam or English!
It must be late, look at me ramble!!!!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

XM is good. I had that in my SRX. Sirius is what came with the Charger and I'm not complaining. I love Country and Classic Rock. They have plenty of those stations. I'm not into sports at all so I don't even know what sports stations I have. My son LOVES the comedy channels but I have to be careful. Some aren't censored. Blue Collar Comedy channel is his favorite right now. That's ok as long as he doesn't take any of those redneck jokes to school.

I'm sorry about your mother-in-law. Your wife must be very worried about her. Even if LA is terrible, at least she will always be grateful for the time she gets to spend with her mom. Indy will still be there in 12 weeks.

Working on it.. My wife's mom unfortunatley fell and had 2 have 2 rods placed in her leg... Now all vacation plans to Indy (looking for jobs and houses there) have been put on hold... Her rehad will be at least 12 weeks due to the damage and lack of rehab facilities -- not enough are approved or certified by our healthcare or Cali (unless of course your a non US Citizen then there's a boatload (no pun intended))

Thats what was good about KZLA no long winded idiots talking -- plus the satellite Dj's arent local (like NY and eastcoast)
My buddy says the only thing going for Sirrius is Stern (yuck!!!) but XM has MLB, NFL, College BBall and Football (24/7)

The ownner (Emmis Comm in INDY (crap)) said it wasnt a viable market the ethnics dont have enough radio station (what 34 Spanish language - 12 hip-hop ?? arent enough : mad:)

Flock of Seagulls?!?!?! That's harsh. I'd move back to Indy if I were you. Or at least somewhere more towards the middle.

I have Sirius sattelite radio in my car and I love it. The worst thing about radio is the bozo dj's who think the music at the start and end of each song is just background noise for more of their talking. Jeez Louise. Stop talking already!

My wife despises the DoodleBops but we all watch SuiteLife, Raven and Lizzy as a family and now our favorite country radio station (KZLA 93.9) has turned into some 80's Prince, Flock of Seagulls, Kash-GooGoo, crap.... I about gagged the other day turned on the car and Prince 'Erotic Dreams' came blasting over the radio instaead of Chesney, Keith or Little Texas.
They took my Hard-rock station now this I am moving ASAP. Los Angeles SUXX

or now my reason 2 spring for a satellite radio tuner
