Make sure you empty all the garbage cans...my experience with those "back everything" guys is THEY PACK EVERYTHING!!!! Bought a eliptical today that cannot be delivered for 10 days..ugh...then they charge 200 bucks to deliever it...(like I can lift and transport a 300 pound machine...) What a rip off...you know they make money out the wazhoo...on this stuff...okay boys home in a couple...have a great day!!!

Glad to hear you are taking the 'movers packing' route ~ it's the best.
I am going to make a listing of all the free days for the museums etc. The kids have a few days off coming up and with luck we will hit one of the free days. If luck doesn't swing our way I am going to make a plan to hit one a month minimum.

Thanks for asking Silver..... I'm not packing a stinkin' thing! Well, except for clothes & stuff for two weeks. The movers will come and do it all. That's stressful to have a bunch of people milling about my house and touching my things. I'm a private person at home and extra people around make me nervous. The hard work comes after we get there and I have to unpack it all. You all know how I procrastinate on that job!

Silver, I think it's a great idea to have some animals and a pasture for them. Your kids are sure to get a lot out of it. I can understand the cabin fever your kids are feeling. We're moving back to that kind of weather. Call us crazy.....

We're all feeling that cabin fever that hits so hard this time of year. Let's brainstorm some ideas to get ourselves through it.

When shorty was little, we often had a picnic on our dining room floor. We had a great sliding glass door that faced south. Between one and three o'clock the sun would shine through it just right. We'd put on shorts and t-shirts, move the table and throw a blanket on the floor. We'd eat pb&js, koolaid and cookies and then curl up in our sunny spot for an afternoon nap. It was so great!

Hey CC ~ how goes the packing? I can positively say without waivering that I hate packing. I hope those days are behind us for some time but just this past week my kids have been asking if we can move, discussing how much they wish winter was over and talking about wearing shorts. It's tugging at my heartstrings pretty hard. I haven't found the heart to tell their Father about the situation.
I am going to look into which animals (large & small) eat what and see if I can create a field of something here. We have so much to work with it's kind of a shame not to do anything fun. The kids will have a blast helping out on this project.
How is Shawn doing with the condo sale? We haven't heard much lately unless I missed it on another page.

Happy Friday Everyone!
As usual I have more things written on my list to accomplish than there are hours in the day. Procrastination ... it's a wonderful thing .. ha! Is it Happy Hour yet?
