He probably just can't handle having a woman know more and be in more control than he is! I can sympathize with him a bit because I exude those technology destroying enzymes myself (it's a medical mystery) but I'm way nicer to my IT guy. ;) I'd tell you just how nice but Tim's already tired from cleaning up your post.....

Before you resign, put that login and password to good use.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, CC. I think I need one of those spring flower arrangements at my house-maybe it will cheer up my daughter! I was so relieved when she left for school this morning. It was just whine, whine, whine all morning long. Ugh! Love those fluctuating hormones!

Okay, now I've had enough: Jerky coworker who seems to have the ability to screw up computers and printers simply by looking at them got all smart with me about his not being able to print(again). I reinstalled the printer last week for him and it still won't work(it's my fault of course). He wants to know if I called IT services. I tell him that he needs to do that because they will need his password and login info(which for some reason he has always refused to give me when he has problems). He gets all pissed and tells me HE doesn't have time for that and I need to do it. I say, then give me your password and login info and I'd be happy to make the call. He put it on a sticky note on the front of his computer-so smart from a security standpoint, then leaves the office. He didn't tell me it was there, I just happened to go look and there it was. I want to say so many things that Tim would immediately delete from my post!!!!! I'm so through. My boss won't do anything. I'm updating my resume and will start looking for something else. Wish hubby would let me just quit right now.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Hi Everyone! Thanks for the well wishes. I'm starting to feel better. I can deal with an early Spring cold, it's the vertigo that I hate so much! Meclizine is great for that but makes you oh-so-tired. Half a pill makes me feel like I've had two glasses of wine!

I took my own advice and picked up one of those Spring Bulb planters at Wal-mart. It's amazing how the scent from a couple of hyacinths can cheer a place up! The crocus and daffodils are nearly done and now the tulips are opening. It's lovely!

I'm not stressing about the house. I've taken an 'If it's meant to be..." attitude with our moves lately. Hubby is stressing enough for both of us right now anyway so one of us has to keep a cool head. Thanks, though, for the words of concern and empathy. It is a beautiful house so I'll be sad to let it go but it was bound to be home for only 12 - 18 months anyway. The builder says people stop by almost daily and ask if it's still on the market, some of them even offering to pay more than we did (by a lot!) so he's not worried about selling it. Some of you may smell a conspiracy in that info, but I don't think so. Again, if it's meant to be.....

I hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday. It's warm and sunny here, I'm not dizzy today and hubby is working from home so I have a lunch date (woo hooooo!).

CC-get better soon. Think on the bright side, if this house doesn't work out, you aren't locked into it and you know exactly what you are looking for (even more now). Just remember, when God closesa door, he opens a window.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

CC, that's a shame about the house! At least it showed up BEFORE you moved in and took possession! Hope it all works out.

What a good son! He knows how to take care of his mom. I have friend who is battling vertigo right now-lots of fun. Get plenty of rest.

We still have lots of people without power here. The people we know personally are all taken care of so far with generators and places to go, but I can't help but think of those who are stuck in cold houses. Now this morning they are saying more freezing rain and snow for tomorrow!
