Hellooooo, anybody else here? I brought a grill and some hamburger. This sunny and warmer weather has me in the mood for cooking out. Somebody bring the s'mores!

Oooo, the floor at the new dojo is twice as big as the last one. It takes a lot more work to get all the way across it! I'm exhausted now and I know I'll be sore tomorrow.....

Evening all.
Just had to put the vapor rub on hubby---he has the head cold thing. UGHHHH he is a bigger baby then the kids when he is sick LOL!!

GIRL SCOUT COOKIES FOR EVERYONE!!!! Yup picked them up last night--my daughter sold almost 300 boxes. I already put some in the freezer--its her last year in girl scouts so I stocked up LOL!!

Well, our school is a bit better than that for advance offerings, but they still have a long way to go. Their biggest problem is not offering advanced classes in all the topics at each grade level. My daughter is particularly strong in language arts and there was no advanced language arts class for 6th graders, just social studies and math. She had to wait until this year to get the advanced language arts/reading. She has that and advanced math. I have no idea where the advanced science kids are supposed to get anything. I'm currently researching outside sources to see if I can propose an after school program in some of these areas so the kids at least get something more than the standard curriculum.

Ugh! On to something more cheerful....

The sun is shining and it's 50 degrees!! Could it be that spring is finally coming for real?!
