I just bought the Charles Schulz biography. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I'm going on a five hour car trip tomorrow so I picked up an audio book ~ The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold. She's the author of The Lovely Bones. It's a 9.5 hour book and I have 10 hours round trip so it should be just about right. I'll let you know if I like it.

We're starting a book club in the neighborhood soon..that may be my first pick--love the quick read aspect of things ... I go from overwhelmingly busy to sitting around picking my eyebrows for fun. Not sure where the balance is but I'll keep looking (and plucking).

Morning Everyone! I think things are getting hectic for everyone; it just seems like each year the 'holiday' pace seems to come one day earlier. One of my favorite local stations started playing Christmas music today instead of waiting until Thanksgiving. I just am not ready to go there yet so the station got changed quite quickly. I did, however, carefully read the new Kraft Food & Family magazine over coffee this am. I am looking for some new holiday desserts and this ones got a lot of great easy ideas.
We haven't talked about books in a while. I am reading What Crazy Looks Like on an Ordinary Day. At 244 pages the novel is a quick easy read that caught me by surprise when discussing young teens in the rural MI northwoods. What is everyone else reading?

I think i'm experiencing that burn out factor that was in PTO Today Magazine. I'm losing a bit of enthusiasm and just keeping going is a bit of a frustration...we'll have to kick back in...plus hubby is between jobs so we're working on having all of that come back together...

Maybe now with t-day on the horizon it won't be so bad...everyone can pop in and chat for a bit. Looks like we made about 3k on the FFestival...so I guess it was worth it. We didn't do a sales fundraiser this year so this was it for the Fall--woo hoo.

Trick or Treat! :p

Where is everyone?!?! I mean, not today, it is Halloween after all, and everyone is busy (or crashing from a sugar high). But in general, where is everyone?
