I saw Molly Hatchet in concert when I was in college... and Kansas, Loverboy, and Def Leppard. Missed Van Halen because I had strep and a temp of 103-I was so disappointed.

Molly Hatchet Release date: 1990-10-25
I'm travelin' down the road and I'm Flirtin w/ Disaster.
I got the pedal 2 the floor & my life is runnin' faster.
I'm outta money, outta hope & it looks like self-destruction.
Well, how much more can we take with all of this corruption?

We're flirtin w/ disaster & ya'll know what it means.
And when we play with our lives, it makes no sense to me.
I don't know about yourself, or what you plan to be, yeah.
We're gamblin' with our time & choose our destiny.

I'm travelin' down that lonesome road.
Feel like I'm draggin' a heavy load.
Yeah, and I try to turn my head away.
Feel about the same most every day
(& you know what I'm talkin about)

Speedin' down the fast lane, & honey we're playin' from town 2 town.
The boys & I been burnin' it up, can't seem to slow it down.
Got the pedal to the floor our lives are running faster.
Got a side-step straight ahead, but I ain't sure what we're after.

Flirtin' w/ Disaster ya'll damn sure know what I mean.
You know, but when we play w/ our lives, it makes no sense to me.
I don't know about yourself, or what you plan to be, yeah.
We're gamblin' with our time & choose our destiny.

We're travelin' down that lonesome road.
Feel like we're draggin' a heavy load.
Yeah, and I try to turn my head away.
Flirtin' w/ Disaster every day

Right now my theme songs are:
"Heading down the road again looking for disaster"(sp?)I want to say a Molly Hatchet song from the eariler '80s.
and "Runing on empty, running on" I want to say it was Eddie Rabbit, but it doesn't sound right.

So, does that expalin my life? Wouldn't change it for the world! Love the hetic life and couldn't think of anything else I'd want to do.

Oh my gosh, someone get me a cold beer! I just ate one of McDonald's new spicy chicken sandwiches and at first I thought, "This isn't that spicy.", but my stomach is on fire! Most spicy things hit you in the mouth, but this has a delayed reaction! Maybe I should have had some greasy fries with it to coat my stomach.

ScottMom, my middle school child had to take a quiz before they could use the microscopes. With the prices of equipment like that, I can see why the teachers want to make sure people know what they're doing. Hope you pass!!!

Since it is Fat Tuesday, I'm bringing a King Cake (please Lord don't give me the peice with the baby!), rum punch, and plenty of pretty beads.
We are doing our annual Chuck E Cheese night tonight and then I have to go to my Microbiology class and take a quiz and show that I can use a microscope (you wouldn't believe how many people can't)! Hope you all have a great day.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

I'll bring the pina coldas & choclate cake. I'll try Shawn's recipe. Lots of quarter for the jukebox, too.
