If you do consider training a puppy of 5 months on the electric fence after a rainfall and do stand close enough to where you get hit in the chin by their three and a half feet jump, DON'T EVER decide to then take the puppy into the house to rest. They will proceed to pant for about 25 minutes and then will throw up all over the carpets ... I mean throw up everything they've eaten for the past 24 hours...on your 2,000 dollar living room rug.

Just wondering, have any of you watched Shalom in the Home on TLC? I started watching by accident a few weeks ago, and I have to admit, when I feel my life and family are crazy, watching some of these parents who have no clue really makes me feel so much better. I know I should feel bad for them, but I think all of us question our parenting ability at some time and this show just shows me how on track we are.
The rabbi is really cool too and makes you see things from totally different point of views.

The only thing about my appearance that's noticable is that when I get skinny, I wind up pregnant!
Seriously, I went from an 8 to a 4 and got pregnant one month after reaching my goal. Went from at 10 to a 6 and got pregnant within 5 weeks. Lost 20 pounds and got pregnant with the 3rd-but he was planned and so was the weight loss. I lost 16 pounds leading up to Spring Break this year and my husband started sleeping on the couch just to be safe! [img]smile.gif[/img] I'm hanging around at size 16 now for good measure.
