Right, mykids, no chili in the booth. I've noticed at expos I've gone too that some folks have a whole picnic lunch spread out and everyone behind the table is having a grand old time. I always feel like I'm intruding and keep on walking. So, I guess no lunch in the booth.

Morning everyone! It's a chilly 33 degrees here today. Makes me want to crawl back into bed and pull the covers up tight!

d - I got a lovely letter from LTC Martin Monday. It was dated 23 December 2006 so the gifts arrived before Christmas. That was a relief to know that. What a kind and eloquent friend you have. She mentions you and Mr. d personally and what dear friends you are. We are all truly blessed to have LTC Martin and her Military Police Battalion out there fighting the good fight on our behalf.

IF I may add, nothing is worse than coming up on a booth and you KNOW what they had for lunch! Went to the Stock Show today and beyond all the smells that go with cows and pigs was this guy's green chili! Nice guy, did take his card for cement work I need done but WOW.

Snow on ebay... not like we aren't getting more Thursday or Friday! Seriously! Kids will be going to school until July at this rate!

Mom's having surgery in the morning, so you will all help me with dumb questions I'll have after my meeting with the cookie dough guy tomorrow? I have a feeling I will not be at the meeting but thinking of Mom. I sure hope this is it for the year! She is getting so much better but it just seems like one thing after another! Dad said she was worse than an old car! DAD!

She's beautiful..... looks like Uma Thurman. But she doesn't see it. She's down to earth, has been around drag racing her whole life and can chat with anyone about racing, cars, engines, anything! She's awesome.

Booth should be nice and clean with neat displays - but not sensory overloaded with too much colors, or stuff

Remember 'NO' is not a rejection of you- its not personal- although I have hired 'Goons' to help with presuasion in the parking lot later- everyone IS entitled to change their mind to agree with me.:cool:

Whew.... I finally got my legs back after my last workout and now I can barely feel my arms. I'd be a sitting duck in a snowball fight! Did any of you read about the lady who is selling Denver snow on ebay? Not sure how that's working out for her.

Hubby, Shorty and I are heading off next weekend to our first ever trade show (The World Drag Expo) as business owners. Thank goodness for our niece who is really running everything! The booth sounds like it's shaping up nicely but I'm a little nervous about being there as an exhibitor/rep of the business. I think I'll just stand behind my beautiful, smart, talented niece and learn from her! Shawn, considering your line of work, you've probably done this before. Any tricks of the trade?
