While CC is getting her legs and arms back I am still trying to get my stomach muscles back. Sit-ups ... who invented them anyway! Obviously I haven't been keeping up in the sit-up department. Seriously, I can't even laugh normally!
Just checked the tv listings ... Presidential Address tonight. They list it as a half hour ... right ... first we will need the analysis after the fact ... then we will need the recap of the analysis and then I am sure the local news will come on to make sure they also give us a recap.
Once the address is done I am switching to cable mode ~ well unless our new favorite house speaker is going to recap ... hee hee! Just kidding Shawn!

We have snow coming this weekend supposedly. No estimates on amounts yet. I think the weather people are a bit gun shy about making too specific of predictions. My prediction is it will snow at least 8 inches and we will have freezing rain mixed in with it. Why do I predict such dire circumstances you ask? Because we are planning a roadtrip for the weekend, that's why!

I had an interesting experience yesterday. Got to be part of a group parents who were interviewed by the State Board of Education on our school district. As I heard other parents commenting about their schools, I came to really appreciate the wonderful principal and teachers we have at my son's school and the number of parents we have who volunteer. Things really could be worse--much worse--scary worse.

Mentioning snowball fights--we had a parent a few years ago suggest our school try to break the worlds record of the biggest(most people) in a snowball fight--never happened but maybe some of you all could think about that who have snow. the rain is coming again and its suppose to be 48 tomorrow here in my neck of the woods. The ski place up the road sure isn't having a good season--hasn't been open yet--A few kids from the high school got hired to work this season but most have moved on--they got tired of waiting LOL!! I ain't complaining--I don't like snow and cold!
