To get off the food topic as it seems like there are many views of this, our school has used a less fattening approach and had a first aid fundraiser. We have found that this promotes safety and is something different that everyone needs. We used a company that had good % of profit and labeled everything in shipment. Mistie- we have used little ceasars for the past 5 years. It's a very big seller at our school. In fact it is requested every year that we do it again. This is our small fundraiser of the year (we make $8,000-$9,000 per year on it. We have NEVER had a complaint about it. You make $5.00 on every pizza kit & cookie tub you sell. The fundraiser is easy to run, delivery and pick up is just as easy. They also give us 2 extra tubs of cookie dough as a thank you. We cook it up and serve it at the next PTA meeting and everyone is happy!

I just wanted to thank willowmom for the little ceasar info. That was exactly what I was afraid of. It is a lot more than the others and I wasn't sure how that went over.
The bottom line is that you offer the fundraiser and the families decide whether they're going to participate in that fundraiser. I know it "takes a village to raise a child" but we have to leave some of the responsibility up to the child's parents. [img]smile.gif[/img]
Btw, we sell Simply Funds Pizza and Pretzels, and they also include cookie dough but unfortunately, I haven't tried it yet.
