NewPrexz " I am very glad to finish it and even though I like to work, it's not the work I am glad to be done with, it's the hateful women."
do you have any insights into what makes the awful women tick, i mean, why were they so mean. i am sure it was nothing personal, they will probably act in same manner to the next pres, dont you think. just curious if you figured out WHY they acted the way they did. then you can jump start the next pres and make his/her life a bit easier by having the knowledge of what may lie ahead!!!!! dont let your bad experiences just rest, make something positive out of them if you can, positive for someone else, if it helps them to know what you wnet thru.

yes, and therein lies maybe the MOST POSITIVE PRODUCTIVE USEFUL of all infomratoins that poor parent interactions or experiences can give a parent...the children of those parents....are they really ones we want our kids to befriend and learn from / role model off of/ get peer pressure from?
i personally am thankful every time a parent does something i find untolerable towards other adults ,,,,i use it in guiding my own children towards playmates that have parents whose acitons are more in tune with i personally find accepatble.

Our kids learn so much by watching us - and everyone else. I was grumbling about a particulary negative mom at school and my son said "Well, that explains her kid..."

By doing everything you did this year, you not only had a tremendously positive impact on the school and greater community you, more importantly, are teaching the children by your example.

The negative folks often seem to be the loudest folks. Let everyone's words here, and dlf's applause, drown it all out!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

and remember,,,,"Whatever doesn’t kill me outright, make me stronger." Nietsche

look at what youve learned, from both the pos and the neg experiences. it all can be used for the good of your future interactions, whether at school or in life in general. and of course, we can educate our kids to treat each other with civility, respect and courtesy. and once we have experinced poor human interactions...that mesage is all the more relevant and meaningful

Boy--I think if there is one thing we need to give each other when we take this job it is a non returnable extra-tough hide to wear. There are always going to be folks that say and do ugly things. That's because THAT'S THE WAY THEY ARE...and it has NOTHING to do with you. I know that it can be difficult but for every icky comment there's a little boy or girl that says "Hi Mrs. so and so" in the hallway...and we should have the self satisfaction that WE are WORKING to make a difference and not to bring others down. You feel good about this past year and don't look back. There are children that have benefitted from what you've done and that is the bottom line. Not one of those nay sayers can touch that as far as reward. So here's to you New Prez...claps all around...to all of us...

Thanks that is good advice re: the children. They are the kindest, less demanding, cutest and most fun. My daughters told me that they did NOT want me to run again no matter what, they said We want you back Mom! No more PTO stuff! I think it is a universal problem that no one wants to do the job but everyone wants to arm-chair quarterback it.
