Thank you for caring enough to give of yourselves to serve the children and to suffer the sometime anticipated and unanticipated abuses for inconsiderate and rude and sometimes jealous individuals.
If you ask my husband, I too had a rough year as chairman, but I look back at all of the accomplishments we made and it is all worth it. I tried to use every situation to practice how to deal with people, learn and grow. I'm sure if you review the incidents in your mind, you'll say "I should have said.. or done.." Next time you'll be ready. The only thing is it sucks your life away, my kids have too felt that mom is not as available as I should be. It's a great job, but hard to balance and make the changes you want to. I think that is why all of us take this job, is that we see ways there could be improvements made. Have a great summer one and all.
