The ULTIMATE Donation List

Just heard a great idea when doing classrooms. This was from a smaller catholic school so less number of children to work with.

Every child was in the picture and they had the children be the shapes of letters and took a picture of them...like say Regina or Family or Comets and then the parents really went after those since their child was in the picture and it was a different twist to doing something from each classroom. For this school they are K - 12 so sometimes becomes challenging to come up with say 12 different ones.

How long does it take to get an answer from Jet Blue? My proposal still says under consideration.

Other ideas that we just got.

The school Photographer/Company- Just donated their highest package that they will offer for next year's school session. That's a $78.00 value

If your a preschool offers lunch bunches or extender care time. We asked the school for a week's worth of "free lunch bunches" they gave 5 days free to auction off. Value $75.00

If you do a yearbook- see if that company will offer a "free" yearbook gift certificate. Value- $25.00

Some ideas for raffle items (not sure if they would work for an auction)

Free Oil Changes for a Year (4-oil change GC - from different oil change businesses)
Free Pizza for a Year (12-free pizzas - ask local pizza places for a free pizza, most will donate)
Summer Swimming (find a local swimming instructor and ask them to donate free swimming lessons)
Wine Tasting (most wine making businesses will donate a wine tasting party for 2 or more)
Flight Lesson (ask a small local airport for a free lesson)

I'm in the Northern NJ area and would be happy to share some of the donations we've received from area Museums and businesses. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We've received several signed books. What value have you all placed on such items?

Since we've received a fair amount of signed items (some with certificates of authenticity - we received these items through a friend contact - that are valued from over $200 to over $500), we were thinking about having these items as a separate level at our raffle (we're in NJ so it's actually a "Tricky Tray)".

My question is, what do you think about having a "Signed Sports Memorabilia" level or incorporating ALL of our signed items into an "Autographed Items" level with signed books, CDs, AND Sports Memorabilia?

Just not sure if Signed Books & CDs can compete w/some of the signed Sports Memorabilia.
