I've hit up Oriental Trading for everything they carry with a tropical theme, the juke box is only stocked with songs about warm places, and the margaritas, pina coladas, and daiquiris(sp?) are swirling in the blenders. Anyone?

OOOh I love my KitchenAid! If there are any rolls left pass one down! I got my mixer 4 years ago for Christmas and it started a Christmas morning tradition of getting up before my family and making cinnamon rolls for breakfast. This year my 9 year old son got up with me and helped.

I also need a big dose of caffeine so I can keep moving today. Got to get our Family Game Night plans finalized. I'm feeling the stress! Everyone say a little prayer that all our teachers will step forward to run the games so the parents can enjoy being with their kids!!!

Hey, the sugar is kicking in! I'll take my tea and head to a back booth where I can make some phone calls.

Hey I'm here! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I'm so sorry to hear about all the bad weather ome of yu are having. It's been wonderful here. But I also know that it will not last for long.

All Christmas stuff was down and out New Year's eve. I know it's way too early, but my husband put the tree up the first weekend in December and I usually put it up around the 15. So it was time to get the house back in order. It feels so good to be back to normal, what ever that is...lol.

Nice to see you ladies. Now that I have dug myself out of the ice and snow! I got a very nice KitchenAid stand mixer for Christmas-I've been coveting them for years but couldn't see spending the money on myself. Bad thing is, I think I've gained a few pounds with all the goodies I've made to try it out. I've brought some fresh cinnamon rolls for you to try. Happy New Year!

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name...

Hey There Hi There Ho There (anyone remember where those lines are from? I've used two TV shows)!

Just stopping by to say Hi and Happy New Year and OMG! Where is everyone? I see the Christmas Tree is gone...

Come Out Come Out Where ever you are...

What did everyone get for Christmas? I got opals and an AbLounger!

I've missed ya'll!!!

TheMetzyMom rolls up her sleeves and gets a sponge to help Tiner...

I'll join you at the fireplace in a half hour! Let me get the table tops and chairs wiped down first!

TheMetzyMom heads for the jukebox and plugs in a quarter... strains of Tim McGraw's 'Live Like You Were Dying' begin... TheMetzyMom picks up a mop and starts dancing...

(TINER wanders into Page Two and looks around. Place is looking a little run down these days and quite deserted. "Where did everyone go?" she muses. In one heave-ho, she throws the christmas tree out the back door-never to be seen again. She goes to the back and drags out a bucket and some pine-sol rolls up her sleeves and starts throwing some elbow grease into shaping up the place.)

Happy New Year Everyone! Hope 2005 is being good to you. Place is looking much better now that some of the dust and cobwebs have been cleared away. I think I'll take a break and have a nice drink next to the fireplace. Anyone care to join me?
