I'll play whatchagot with ya.........I've got a 21 year old step son that knows nothing about life and got a domestic volience charge slapped on him for pushing a girl( a guess his mother didn't teach that boys don't hit girls) and now some other girl is calling saying she's pregnant and it is his. She wants to marry someone with no job and no brain. Go figure!!!
I have a 15 yr old who thinks all of the teachers at school are out to get him and that is the reason that he has nothing higher than a 25% on his progress report. NOt his fault---It's all theirs.....Yeah, Right!!!!
My soon to be 13 year old son now has every ailment known to man and a few that are just made up. The school nurse spends more time with him than I do, for crying out loud.
Now for my 11 yr old....This kid has the smartest mouth you have ever heard. I swear if he back talks me one more time...He will not live to see his 12th B-day!!!!
I'll have something strong to go with all these girlscout cookies I am scarfing down!!!

So I'm Cyndi from AZ. I'm a little curly, and mom extraordinaire to three kids who are really curly I've got DS8.5 gifted, ADHD, 3rd/gifted classroom, DD5.5, princess complex, kinder with a teacher who is just phenominal but sometimes I wonder if she thinks she's teaching 1st or 2nd grade, and DD2, my little spitfire. I saw, I think on this thread, something about 'watchugot' and man, I am going to be GOOD at that game.

Well, now that I've given my elevator speech, I feel a little less newbie-ish And Michelle, I am so ashamed to admit it, but I think I may have read every single thread in the first two forums. I have spent so much time on this site, not just at home but also at work, I'm surprised my IT hasn't blocked it yet.

I don't really remember how I got into the Page Two. Something about Sprite and Jolly Ranchers? Any way, Page Two is a really unique in that you have never even seen the people, probably never will and we all manage to be friends and have a good time. We virtual drink, bring in everything from cheese cake to chili, pour quarters in to the virtual jukebox and sing along like crazy people and there always someone there to lend support and cheer you on in good days and bad. That's why we want to keep it!!!We can talk about any and every thing. You guys are great!!! I really do appreciate the support during the hurricanes--If it's like that next year, I'm moving NORTH!!!!

I was so excited to get the mag and then crest- fallen when Moira mispelled my name and even misquoted me. I should be used to the name thing though. FYI.. I didn't say that I was impressed that most of the selling can be done on-line, just that it was a neat option. All of our selling was done by the students. It is a good article though. Our sale was not as successful as we had planned, but we are committed to continuing with it. We have money to cover all of this year's budgeted items and so this money will be bonus for playground equipment.
P.S. I think the pic is of the author, Moira McCarthy, but I could be wrong.
