I have to agree with Debbie on the Limbo thing if I tried to do that I'd be spending a week or more in bed. I used to do that back in the day on roller skates. Ohhh what fond memories!

As far as pictures goes, do you want one of me at 278lbs or 165lbs? Either way I don't think I'll go there. But it could be fun if you think about all the things that stress us out and the people involved and how we look/react to the situation. But I still think I'll pass, but would love to see everyone elses.

I had a rare opportunity to go to a theater production (Rodgers & Hart 'Beguiled Again') last night, and when one of the song included the limbo, I totally thought of you guys.

I found out Friday night that my sister who just bought a new car also got fired 3 or so weeks ago. I knew she was avoiding me (she comes home VERY late every single night which is odd for her), and now I know why. But (up until the last couple of days) she gets up and leaves the house at the time she would normally go to work, and has volunteered to me that she's working double shifts. According to my source, she's going to my mom's house every day and spending a lot of time hanging out and watching TV and very little looking for another job. I don't think she's come home at all since Sunday. Anybody think 21 and 11 months is just too damn old to act like this?

The two people who said they wanted to get involved in committees haven't returned the messages I left them on Sunday.

And DH and I are on each other's respective sh*t lists. He has PMS.

I'm here, no we can start the party!!! Ok, so I'm so tired I just came for a rum and coke so I can get to sleep. As you might have seen from some of my other posts, we're dealing w/a Pres who has cause some conflict in the group and w/ the Principal who resigned and hasn't turned in PTO stuff and, well the list of complaints just goes on. So last night we elected an Interim Pres, now there are two parents, and we had one of the most progressive, relaxed, and forward moving meetings I've ever been a part of. We were accomplishing stuff left and right and ideas just kept coming. I have gotten tons of emails and lots of offers to help now that they don't have to work with the last person. The bad stuff sucks but just where we have gotten since then is awesome and exhausting!
I got married at a court house and it was cool, but I told people. My brother told everyone at our last gathering that he was going to have a baby but his girlfriend had an abortion. He is 19 and in and out of jail and still at home making my mom crazy and last night 2 got bit in the face by a dog-I assume doing soemthing illegal. Needless to say, his whole life he has heard, "Why can't you be more like your sister?" and it probably hasn't helped any.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

hiya ladies--wanted to stop in for a cold one and a few laughs!! Laughs at the limbo contestants and the staying alive dancers!!
Lets see for the whatugot posts--- i have a 21 yr old brother who is getting married tomorrow (to his 37 yr old g/f) and no one knew till we saw his marriage license in the newspaper last night--a few months ago she had him thrown in jail for pushing her when she came after him with a knife--he wouldn't admit to the police she had the knife cause he LOVES her--so he got put on probation and had to go to anger managment classes and now they are getting married-they have been together off and on for a year i think--complete opposites ( but so was my husband and i when we married complete opposites who only knew each other for 3 months) No one was invited to go to the court house with them to be married but i am going--after all he is my baby brother--plus its the courthouse i am allowed to be there LOL!!!!
