Crockpot? Havent used one of those since my college days. Havta dust it off and try it.
My fave was Pork Chops or Pork Roast (done same way) then add sauerkraut for last couple of hours. :cool: (My moms best)
Gonna try the brownies and a stiff drink, too (no walnuts- Yechh !!!- or Coconut- Anaphalactic shock) Tho I might need it by Fri nite- Sock Hop is at 530 Fri night (been shot at in Panama, Somolia, The Desert and Iraq (scared, but not nervous)- I've never been so nervous this thing is gonna bomb- no PUN intended) I'm the chairman. :eek:

I bought some paint for the dining room this morning(and some curtains). Going to spend some time working on that project tomorrow. I need to get down in our basement and clean up so I can roll out the carpet we removed from the dining room. Should make a nice area for the kids and I to do projects. I've got tons of pictures to go through and get into albums, I've sworn to myself to get that done this summer. It's supposed to be absolutely sweltering here this week so we'll be spending time at the pool when there are no ball games. Hope I can keep my enthusiam from waning as the weeks pass!
I would love to have your recipe. I use my crockpot a lot expceially during the summer. I'm on vacation this week, but don't have any exciting plans. We went swimming at one of the new city pools this afternoon. The rest of my week is not planned, but I do plan on cleaning out some closets, drawers, etc. Kinda like a late, very late spring cleaning.
Hey closetwriter, how did the chocolate mint pie turn out? Sounds like a yummy variation! I made my first lemon meringue pie yesterday. I figured I could never make it like mom's, but was hungry for it so...it turned out really good and it's gone already!
