Friday is date night, I pick this cute girl up from the coffe shop (she drinks the froofy coffee -- and looks like my wife -- but without children) and we head nextdoor to da grocery store and maybe a soda.

the belgians make good waffles. some of the beer is OK too though. the beignets are from the real French. deeelicious.they know how to live (eat).

I KNOW...........the kids had a sleep over last weekend and instead of going to dinner or something nice, we went to Walmart!!!! how sad is that! And I was happy to go and be able to shop without someone hanging on the front of the buggy grabbing stuff as we go by, i got to take my time and actually get everything I needed instead of bits and pieces.

My friend, i think we are officially adults now.

catchy & fun... but no drinkin here... no time for that anymore. That seems like a "wicked" long time ago... "wicked" is a term up here in New Hampsha'!
What I laugh at myself about all of the time is how I used to get excited to go out with my friends and hit up the bars, shopping, hangin' out... now- I get excited about getting out at the coffee shop knowing I don't have to unload 4 kids! Or even more exciting- going to the grocery store by myself!!!!
Don't misunderstand me though- I LOVE MY LIFE & KIDS>>> just miss my freedom!

Roof--that brought back memories of being in highschool and sneaking out of my house with the guy i wanted to date and drinking on the water tower!!!! holy cow. The things my kids can NEVER learn about!!!! If I am paying for my raising would someone shoot me NOW!! or at least pass another one this way........

Oy--I can't even spell beignets...and I lived in Belgium for 2 years (Isn't that french?). Fagetaboutit (as we say in NJ). Glad to hear everyone is drinking coffee cause I'm outta pain pills and the slow reality of life (and PTO) is setting in [img]smile.gif[/img] .
