Yeah!!! My mother-in-law is coming for the weekend. She'll be here tomorow night. Every time she visits a calm feeling settles over me and my home. I have never, in my whole life, met another woman like her. I'm going to have to make something special for supper. Any suggestions?

heres another: adult gets shot in face w BB gun by a child as the adult is out for an afternoon jog, passing the kids house, who he doenst even know.
guess the kid thought he was playing a video game and was doing target practice.
anyway, his BB gun had a half life of 15 seconds after the last shot.

I had a neighbor (who, by the way is a grown man) who used his airsoft gun to shoot any neighborhood dogs who wandered into his yard and another (also a grown man) who actually shot children he found to be annoying. They are both so lucky that I don't have a dog and that, while he is sometimes annoying, my son was never shot.

I wish I had an answer to your question, T. I'm just as confused as you are. The only thing is - children learn what they live and oh so many grown ups are letting them down.

What is the world is going on today? We found out that a student was arrested (yes - arrested) for bringing a BB gun onto a bus and shooting a fellow student. Police everywhere! Also, a neighborhood kid was accidently hit by a bb pellet after a school friend shot off his BB gun on our local school path.

I swear - makes me want to move back to my rural hometown. They might be rednecks there - but at least there is knowledge and repect for what a gun can do to a human!
