wow- haven't been here in a while!
My grandmaother has been ill- we are close- it's been hard. She's bi-polar manic depressive and something threw her into a manic phase. Kills me.
Anyways- Seems like some one flipped the switch here- It's now 30 degrees at night- haven't even gotten all of the summer clothes put away.
Seems like everytime I think I'm caught up with something- a new something is starving for my attention!

Hey GaMom! It's kinda quiet in here tonight, isn't it?

A miracle happened at my house today. Hubby was looking for a start up disc for a crashed computer and came face-to-face with his pack rat ways. OK, he's only a pack rat for computer components, accessories, every box, disc, cable and user's manual ever. I'm not kidding. We had a Windows 95 box!!! We spent 4 hours in the spare room cleaning out and throwing away over a decades worth of computer junk. I think we could've set up a Smithsonian display with what we had. Whew.... What a relief!

Pack a bag and bring it on Lu! The weather here is gorgeous--just cool enough in the mornings and evenings, but perfect in the day! The leaves are all beautiful.

I have racked up on some major deals on halloween stuff. I am so totally prepared for next year! My hubby just doesn't get it though. He keeps fusssing, but how can you pass up 70% off at micheals????? That is insane! I found enoughstuff for all my treat bags next year--both kids and my student teaching class.

I'm so ready for Christmas! I can't wait to get the lights on the house and the tree up! All the stores have their stuff out already. I LOVE IT!!!

I've had chocolate. Feeling kinda hyper!

Mmmmmm Sean Connery. I love him. The Rock isn't even a very great movie but I watch it for the same reason you do....

Lu - come on down to Alabama. Stay here a few days then pop over to GA to say "Hey" to GaMom. Unless, of course, she's off to claim her rightful place in British aristocracy. We're not the deep south but it's going to be mid to high 60s to start out the week then back in to the mid 70s by the weekend. Lovely.

Shawn - to inherit anything, besides kudos, you typically have to be related through a blood line which is through the male side of the family not by marriage on female side. There is always the will though. I think I seen something about 6 months ago about a well to do man in London looking for a blood relative to inherit his castle and grounds. Seems he didn’t have children & the relatives he knows do not want it because it’s not in the area they’d like to live & it costs a fortune to keep up. Crazy people. He has been searching for years. Perhaps you should send in your application Sir Shawn. Speaking of ‘Sir Shawn’ just watched The Rock last night (for like the 10th time) good grief Sean Connery seems to look better and better as he ages.
