Me - Get a savings fund for buying a house up and going. Tired of being a rentor and at the whim of a landlord!

It sounds like you've all had a fun, busy, enjoyable Christmas time. So glad to hear it!

We had a blast at Disney World. It's a crazy place but tons of fun. The new ride, Soarin' - too much fun! And I went on Mission: Space and didn't die. Whew...

Now we're in Illinois for the family Christmas. Yep, still one Christmas to go tomorrow but it's going to be great fun. Then Sunday is the Winter Birthday Bash/New Year's Eve party. Hubby's family started dividing birthday parties into the four seasons so we just have four big parties instead of lots and lots of little ones.

Went to the new house today to check on the progress. Things are coming along great. Looks like we should be moving some time in February or March. Yippee! I got to pick out the fridge and washer/dryer today. Hubby got to see where the garage is going.

The hotel has internet access but after a week without it, hubby and shorty are dominating the laptop. I just wanted to pop in, say hello, give a quick update and log off before two sets of eyes glare holes right through the back of my head!

Shawn - made me snort out my coffee from laughing on that remark. Thanks - I needed a laugh. Dogs - my daughter wants one bad. I think she is going to be a politician because she keeps trying to 'make a deal' to get a dog. In the back of my mind all I can think about is another one I have to clean poop and pee up after - great (NOT).
I have one and a half bottles of wine left in the house ... it's after lunch ... hmmm ....

My friends are in....what that means is 4 adults, 2 boxers, 2 burnese mountain dogs, 5 boys and 1 girl (bless her heart). Busy days and we're off to bowl now. The dogs are busy marking and remarking their territory. One peed on the brand new bar we had done in the basement. When hubby said "Angus peed on the bar" I said "Well somebody had to be first since it was bound to happen some day."...I don't think he appreciated it.

Cut back on the sugar intake (or caffeine) and maybe they'll hit the toilet?!!!

I hear you. My kids are bouncing off the walls. I have resorted to calling all their classmates to see who wants to come over for a couple of hours or where I can drop my kids for a couple of hours. I have had some very excited & happy Mom's call me back ... I think we are all speaking the same 'Mom' language.
I still have 2 bathrooms to clean but I am refusing at the moment; I can hit the water just fine without getting it all over the inside cover or the seat - is it too much to ask of others?!
