Ha--cc--that's the spirit. My hair is falling out but I hated to style it anyway. My boobs are dropping but I can really do that "Do your ears hang low" song now :).
I guess it's all in how you look at it.

Sorry about the snarly teenager, LUV. All will be forgotten by the time you pick her up from school today.

What is today anyway? Monday? Friday the 13th? It's been insane.

For every negative event today, I've tried to find two blessings to offset it.

1. Car broke down and will be in the shop for three days - but I bought the extended warranty and it covers a loaner.

2. Missed a quiz in algebra Thursday - but I earned 10 extra credit points on an optional homework assignment to offset the 10 point quiz and I'm still getting an A in the class.

3. Shorty decided that things like clean clothes and clean hair aren't necessary - He's stinky but my nose is stuffed up so I can't smell him and, other than the personal grooming issue, he's still a way-above-average teenager.

4. For some reason, I wrote my June rent check for $23 less than the rent amount and the manager just informed me of it today - but I don't have to pay any late fees or penalties and I can include it in my December rent check.

Well, the list goes on (it really has been a crazy day) but I've probably shared too much already.....

And yet, we still love them.......

I'll probably pick her up a little something to eat before she has to do her shift at the bake sale. I'll see if a Subway tuna will make her like me again. :)

You go LUV--It's tough sometimes isn't it. My guy got mad at me last night because while he was in the shower I went and laid down with 2 of the other brothers first. Now he wasn't there or anything but I did get the cold shoulder all night when I did lay down with him.

Thank you CC, that is so nice of you to say. I needed a kind word this morning-the teenage daughter was being rather unpleasant this morning. Let's just say that I wanted to do a happy dance when I let her out of the car in front of the high school because I wouldn't have to "enjoy" her company for several hours. My offense? I asked her to carry in a small bag of items for the bake sale one of her groups is doing after school. It seems it was too much of a load for her--weighs a whole pound. She left it in the car too, so I get to cut my grocery shopping short this afternoon so I can take it to the school. Guess who's stuff I'm cutting from the shopping list?

Passive aggressive? Maybe just a little.

No, he isn't puffed up. He's incredibly humble. I knew it wouldn't go to his head, but it sure does make him sound grown up!

I hear boys look for girls who remind them of their mother so you can be sure that your son won't settle for anything less than amazing - no matter how much they schmooze you.
