We've got trunk or treat tonight, got rained out last week. This is the halloween that never ends. That's okay-it's a fun time of year. If you've been hitting the blog you know I spoke to 130 3d graders yesterday. THAT was fun. When I said I'd speak at career day about being a stay at home mom they told me they were full. Well apparently the taxidermist bailed out so they called me in. I had to beat out a guy that stuffs dead things. HA.
Presentation went well, showed them how to make a career timeline and then gave them the cookies I'd baked (stay at home rules). Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Last night was tortreating and then cocoa by the fire. Today it is the pee wee FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP...woo hoo...

What a beautiful day we have for it here. Sunny, 72, just a little breezy. Perfect for the little hooligans to be running around it. You never know in Illinois. It could be like this, or cold and rainy, or even snowy!

Dr. Oz Green Drink all around! What? No takers?!?!?! I don't blame you. Lucky me, I get to drink it three times a day.

My best friend has gone on an eight week cleansing diet to help resolve some major medical issues. Being the friend that I am, I cheerfully said, "Hey, don't worry, I'll go on it with you. We'll get through it together!" Then I saw the list of things I can have. And noticed right away the things that are not on the list. No Coffee? No Beer? :eek: Yeah, I know, it's a cleansing diet. I should've read the fine print first!

What is Dr. Oz Green Drink, you ask? Some of you may know it from an episode of Oprah. (I wish I'd seen that episode) It's a juice made from fresh spinich, parsley, celery, cucumber, apples, ginger, lemon and lime. It makes a whole quart and I'm supposed to make a batch and drink all of it every day. I just hope I don't start to turn green!

It was good there was no one in the office but me when I read your boob comment, d! I laughed WAY too loud. Wouldn't wanted to have to explain why to my all male group of coworkers!

I am redeemed in the eyes of the teenage girl at this moment. The tuna sandwich and then saving her behind later in the evening by having the orchestra teacher's cell phone # I think helped her figure out that Mom can be a pretty amazing person sometimes.
