Animated naked butts at school?

I'd be careful of listing the exact potentially-offensive pieces. Because where do you stop?

Animated naked butts? Yes.

A gas joke? Yes? No?

A burp joke?

You know what I mean?

We're having the same trick at our school. I think we're going to have one night and market as "for the younger kids" and make sure it's a G movie.

But I think it can be a great night for the older kids and families, too, so we're trying to find a PG movie that's on the good side. And then I think we'll include two pieces of text in the flyers:

1) This is a PG movie. We've done our best to pick a good family film, but please know that it is PG. Here's a website that decribes its contents (I know there's a site that does this for families -- have to look up the url)

2. The night is entirely optional. While we'd love to have the whole XYZ community join us, we understand if you decide the movie isn't for you. We hope you'll join us at another of our great family events.

First you should probably check with your county. We are not allowed to show anything BUT G rated movies. That certainly limits us. Next when I advertise the movie I would put an area that informs the parents of the content and even mild issues of the sort you are mentioning. If you are in the counties guidelines and the parents don't mind their children seeing naked animated butts, then they will allow the children to come. That would be my approach....d

I am researching movie ideas for our first ever movie night and some on our planning team are concerned about showing PG rated movies. For instance, we would like to show Ant Bully but it has a digitally animated naked butt. And Over the Hedge has rude humor and a naked turtle butt. These are both movies I would/ have watched with my kids but there will probably be some parents who might not like these movies.

How have you guys handled this issue? Do you send a flyer out saying there will be an animated naked butt in the movie?
