aHAHA... A new dietary gourmet food..
Tofu Donuts

Shawn is busily making his 5 kids slave in the kitchen to come up with the NEW recipe (and the Clairvoyant is chaneeling Dave Thomas, Sara Lee and Betty Crocker- arre the last 2 real people- awww worth a try)

Hope the Califronia food police dont try it, IF a guy whom doesnt even have custody of his kid can sue... Look out

DWD is the most successful way of getting 'em involved.. Maybe a DWD or Dad's Breakfast called DWD- but specify no donuts.. Hope it never comes to that...

Back to the kitchen BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA

My turn on the soap box...

Tim, as you know, several states have already put laws in place that restrict the types of treat foods that can be served in the school. Our state, Mi, is debating similar legislation right now. It would be a huge shame if the law-makers forbid something as innocent and wonderful as DWD. We had our first (2) DWDs this year - huge response, many Dads who haven't ever been in the school, lots of proud kids' faces. I'd like to invite our reps and senators to come. They can chose to not eat the donut if they wish.

Is that it? Is it the "donuts" that wouldn't pass muster? Grrrrrrr -- methinks the food police may be going overboard.

Birthday cakes and dessert and donuts at special morning events -- those things aren't causing the obesity issues. Nor is a piece of candy as a reward for something. Now 3 pieces of cake + 3 donuts + no exercise.... *that's* an issue.

But banning Donuts with Dad because donuts are over some arbitrary calorie figure??? C'mon.... We have to add some common sense to these discussions.

OK -- off my soapbox.

Is it just that this parent wouldn't approve of the donuts? Then do Breakfast with Dad. Serve dry cereals, fresh fruit, toast, muffins, milk and juice.

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
