I write the school's newsletter monthly. Sometimes it's double sided 8 1/2 X 11, single sided, or double sided 8/12 X 14, it just depends on how much info there is.

I usually list all important dates, any activities that the school is doing, school board news if it directly affects our school, classroom activities, and of course PTO info.

I try to have it finish for distribution onthe 2 Monday of the month, but that doesn't always happen. Since that is when it is supposed to go home I try to put any news for the first week or two of the following month.

Can you briefly tell me what you put in your newsletter? I need some info so when I bring this up I'll be able to answer their questions

We try and get ours out monthly. It happens most of the time. It's a double sided sheet printed on colored copy paper. I think our gal does it in publisher. Looks nice!

I love to get a newsletter going. What is better a quarterly one or send one out monthly..There is not very much involvment in our school. Mainly because alot of people don't know there is a PTO
