We sign up our Room Parents on Open House night. We have a sheet in each classroom where parents can sign up for everything from being Head Room Parent to bringing treats for a party. We promote it at registration. I'll send you the sign-up sheet and promo materials.
Actually, our teachers solicit them when all of the parents meet the teacher at the beginning of the year at the open house for us. The PTO doesn't do this.
I am looking to provide room parents to our teachers next year. I was wondering if anyone out there uses a form to find said parent volunteers? I would like to get the forms out to current parents by April and we have a kindergarten round-up in March that I would like to hand it out to those parents then.
