tradechi, we used Fun Services a couple of years ago. I loved them. We did have to price our things. They gave us a price sheet as a guide but we were free to set our own prices and I would much rather prefer to do that. We also had it one day and a Saturday. That was a mistake for us. Too much of a tizzy for the kids. Last year they used a "local" company and had to go out and buy things but they had broke it up into three days. The pres or anybody else didn't bother setting up volunteers for the thing and the Title I aides ended up having to run it. The president was trying to work about 3 counties with her job and would have to quit and bring things in (I don't know how she didn't get fired). It was a mess. Fun Services gives you step by steps on everything, plus bags, coin banks, and lesson plans.

Reindeer Game didn't price everything for us and we had to do it at a last minute job and didn't deliver on the promised cash registers. We did the inventory any way because everything was so disorganized we were nervous. We ran out of most desirable things. 2 years ago it was KidsMmart. Selection wasn't as good as Reindeer so . . This year we are trying Fun Services, wish us luck. Our real problems have been with time, we've always have done it in a 4 hour evening window. We bring in about $4,000 and make about $200. It's strickly a service event. This year we'll do the 2 day, one during school day and one Saturday.
