If you have some good sports, you can do the sponge throw. Cut a hole for the persons face and hands and have the kids try to hit the person with wet sponges. I love this game. I always end up soaked. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

a variation of the grab bag idea by tiner68. We make grab bags and stuff them into the pockets of a large, multi-pocketed(we made it) apron. The teachers take turns wearing the apron and the kids pay a ticket to get to pull a bag out of a pocket. They love seeing their teachers!

5)treasure dig-fill a small pool with sand and use little plastic shovels to dig up prizes that you have hidden in the sand.
6)dino hunt--i bought some plastic eggs with a dino inside from OTC and i am going to fill a large pool with shredded newspaper from the recycling center and the kids can hunt thru the paper for them.
7)football throw-OTC has a blow up football player with a hole to throw a football into.

OK, how about these?
1) little tykes basketball- bring a small fisher price basket ball hoop and have kids try to make a basket.
2)grab bags-fill small bags with a price and put in a painted box with a hole in it for children to reach in and grab a bag.
3) face painting is big at our school
4)apple/doughnut on a string- we tied a rope between 2 trees and hung lengths of string to them then tied the apples or doughnuts to them. the first one to eat the doughnut/apple is the winner.
