Everyone has had some very helpful ideas. Here is some of our games this year.

Theme "Down on the Farm"

Duck Pond(farm theme need the ducks)

O' Cake Corral(cake walk)

Buckin Bronco (we rent one of those inflatable bouncy)

Lucky Egg ( many eggs with slips of what kinda of prize small med large)

Feed the Livestock(pig, horse and sheep with holes in mouth tossing corn beanbags)

Jail( love this kids or adults pay couple tickets to have someone else put in jail)

Barnyard Surprise (this idea came off of heehaw where they had the barn door wall and when u open it sometimes u had silly string sprayed, pies or prizes)

Outhouse Toss(we have made an outhouse with a hole in top to toss half used toliet paper into it) Kinda like basket ball toss ( this is almost 7 foot tall for the older ones and there is a hole on side for younger kids which is really hard to make it)

Horse shoes (plastic)

Slop buckets (this is the grandprise game off of bozo show)

Pickin Apples (sucker tree)

Saloon (selling soda and dippin dots)

Branding Shop (tattoos, hair coloring and face painting)

I am trying to get gold fish donated for another game.
Many more just not sure of names for them yet.

Good luck

We're planning on adding a Mom's Only Room this year... with massage chairs and parrafin hand dips.

Here's a few more ideas:
1. A variation on ring toss is to get those dashboard hula dolls and make it like the rings are hula hoops and you have to toss them on the dolls.
2. Have a bushel that is slanted about 45 degrees and give them a woofle ball to try and get it in the bushel. Its harder than it sounds, you have to throw it in just the right spot and the right speed so it won't bounce out! You can even paint the woofle ball red and call it an apple toss.
3. Get an ice cube tray and then get some fake ice cubes or marbles and make them try to get them into the holes.
4. Get a bunch of cups and a woofle ball that is bigger than all the cups' rims (so it won't fall into the cup.) Put all the cups together and have small prizes or slips of paper representing larger prizes. They throw the ball and they get the prize in the cup that the ball sits on. (Good for the little kids because the prize is guranteed or for the older kids you can have some cups empty.)
5. If you have someone who's good with wood, you can get a board (about 2'x3') and paint it to resemble a building. Cut out holes where the windows would be. Cut out some wood and paint to look the fire and hinge one to the back of each hole. Give the kids a squirt gun or squirt bottle and they try to spray down the hinged flames! Call it firefighter frenzy.
Also, like mentioned before, a balloon artist is a great addition. I am a professional balloon artist and wherever I do gigs, my line is always the longest compared to any other activity. You can also learn balloon animals, its easy and kids will enjoy even the simplest design. Check out my website for links to balloon instructions: click here if you're interested in learning.
Lastly, face painting is simple and the kids love it!

Ok in the middle of the night in a horrendous thunder storm I came up with this game. It's like crouquette only instead of using the square wire you have frog shapes that they hit the ball thru. I call it Croak-It! Weird, I know but I made the frog pieces and it looks really cool.

I tried emailing Dee for her huge list of carnival games, but it bounced back to me. Is there anyone who received the list from her and would email it to me?

Thanks bunches,
Holly
