I live in North Carolina, where teachers are still hitting children with wooden boards with holes drilled in them and injuring children in the name of discipline.
I am looking for national support from PTA and PTA members willing to take on this issue in their schools if corporal punishment is used.
FYI, the PTA has a postition statement that supports banning corporal punishment.
Thoughts?
