Crew- smooth...no lime or salt needed...
No drinking for you tonight. School tomorrow. I already feel my hang over.

Shawn - be proud of me. It's 12:10am and I am still up. But I almost fell asleep at the puter a couple of times. How much is gas in So Cal Shawn? It ranges between $2.84 - $2.99 here in Mid TN.

Scottmom- I just sent you a BUNCH of emails. Hope you got them all.

Take care, I'm not used to being up this late. I know...cry you a river. Do you ever sleep Shawn?

Migraine today and we got our new property tax rate, school tax rate and health insurance rate.
(I wasnt in a nice mood or feeling PC friendly --some would say when do I ever ;) )

I'm the only one who drinks Tequilla unless a few friends from out of town are here -- less space in new condo and gas prices have put dampers on entertainment -- plus its no fun making a fool of yourself at home, I do that enough sober )

I'll have a drip coffee and enjoy the smell of the froofiness and liberal views but wont partake or join the Darkside ;)

Nuther long nite wifes mom fell and broke hip and femur waiting for call that she's out of surgery (anyone got a close cheap sitter, mine out of order)

Kinda like the tornado chasers back home in Midwest, "well Bill was watching with his video corder and just got sucked up and thrown thru the modile home park down the street"

What did they think the bridge was just gonna plop into the water, no muss no fuss. Gravity works but it doesnt negate Torricelli's equation (final velocity and displacement)

This is how we spent about 90 minutes of our day in 106+ degree heat standing on the Kansas River levee.

(Under the title and reporter's name click on "Video High" to watch the explosion. It was REALLY cool!)

We weren't too close because I've been in safety zones before and been hit or showered with whatever was falling. The only thing I didn't like about this story is that they failed to mention that the building hit was evacuated as part of the nonsafe zone and the guy knew his business was at risk.

Dlf, hope you get better soon.
Shawn, I never have leftover tequila but there is always rum, beer, Jack, some flavored vodkas, and a few mixers. Did I mention I just had a graduation party, then a 4th of July party, and am planning a house warming and my mother's wedding? The guys at the liquor store must think I'm some kind of crazy binge drinker.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Hey d! How're you feeling this evening? You know you're going to be a legend in your school forever and ever now. When people grumble that they've got it bad, are under appreciated and over worked, someone will say, "At least you don't have to do it with a broken neck, wrist and eye socket!" Of course years from now you'll be cannonized as Saint D, Patron Saint of Parent Group Leaders. And catholic school children all over the world will get the day off on your birthday. ;)

Hey Shawn - having fun over at the 'illegals' post? You know that's not very PC of you. I'm a bit more liberal in my political views but I will always respect the opinion of someone who's worn a uniform and promised to defend our country! Maybe you should have a froofy Starbucks coffee. That'll zoom you right on over to the left with us PC liberals!!! :D

Has anyone seen Renee S lately? I love reading her posts and she's a ton of fun in here but I haven't seen a post in a long time. ????? Maybe she's taking the year off too.....

PTOCES - How's that tequila?

Tomorrow is my son's first day of 7th grade. He's a little stressed out. Mostly I think it's from the 6:30am alarm. That time of day stresses me out too. I'm more of a 9am kinda girl.
