Shawn, you're too much fun. Really. Love the Token Dad t-shirt. I wish I had just a bit of your sense of humor!

The good thing about being mostly unable to drink is that when I do - half a beer is enough. ;)

Hey, if anyone gets their hands on a December 2006 issue of Hot Rod, check out the article on page 106 - 1,740 HP on Pump Gas. That's our engine guy! If you turn to page 110 and look way back in the corner of the photo of the shop, you'll see our hemi. It's a stretch, I know, but it still makes me feel kinda famous.

A shot of tequilla THEN the coldbeer- tha'll take away the taste of liquefied hay  .

I was handsome to enough beautiful young ladies in my day, and cant complain, and thank you...

Now I'm just old and grumpy.... ;) (oh and I just noticed in the PTO Hall of Fame)

The PTA is doing good and have accepted me (and my $5) --- (all part of my evil plan)- now I just need to screen a couple 'Token Dad' and 'PTA Guy' shirts again.

'Clink'- glasses or bottles- Cheers (No mug, please)

And say a prayer for C Lidles wife, kid and family (he's the NYY SP that ran into the skyscraper)

waahhhaa! I don't do beer! Can't stand the taste of any of them (I swear if hay were liquified that's what it would taste like!) I can honestly say in my entire 38 young :D years, I've never drank an entire beer! I just can't get past that first mouthful.

So, bottoms up CC and have the other half for me ;) ....

I'm having an artic berry shmirnoff ice. I'm not supposed to drink more than once in a while, and with carnival stress, it's about the only thing that settles me down.
In case I haven't mentioned, we have a new principal who I adore but have to keep apologizing to because I'm not used to an involved principal. The old one was like "just do whatever and don't cause me any problems" and this one wants to HELP. I have a raffle basket group that always comes in during prep and puts stuff together and I guess she wanted to help put baskets together, but she didn't tell me and I, of course, didn't ask her. I guess she was expected to be involved at her past schools and likes it that way and I don't begin to know what to do unless she tells me what she wants and I like her so much that I hate making her feel left out. Why is PTO so much like high school?
Also, did anyone know that is was national school lunch week? I had no idea there was such a thing. We have a whole new lunch program and I really love the people working in it so I'm going to put them together something. If I can get to my supplies through all the carnival stuff in my way.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Thanks T - that was a nice thing to say. I needed that!

I'm reaching for the old standby - coldbeer. Miller Light, right out of the can. Don't worry - only half of it. I've tried those NA beers. I've been on coumadin long enough to know when I can swing half a beer.

ppssshhhtt...... aahhhhh
