Now that the superbowl is over, what was your favorite commercial? I have 2; the blockbuster one where the animals in the pet store are trying to use a real mouse and the GM one where all the famous people are singing various GM product related songs. That last one had me crying at the end because Dale Jr can't carry a tune to save his life, and ironicly enough, he hates country music.

Staple gun..... right...... I didn't even think of that! I have two and I never use them so I tossed one of minein there along with a box of staples.

Thanks for the link, Shawn! I got her nearly everything on the list, but no cordless drill. I was already way over budget with what I did get. I even remembered to get a flashlight and a can of WD40..... Everyone needs WD40! Oh, and I stopped by Barnes & Noble and got a how-to manual for basic repairs and routine maintenance. It should come in handy. Craftsman all the way! I love Craftsman.

ScottMom, hubby is the same here. He loves my house toolbox over his garage toolbox(es!). From time to time I have to go out to the garage, round up all of my stuff and bring it back in.

Now I use it to fix apholstery. This reminds me, my husband has a huge garage full of tools, etc and when it comes time to fix something around the house he gets out my set because he "knows where it is." Too bad he never puts anything back.

Seriously, that sounds like a pretty well-rounded tool kit. I was going through my mind(that doesn't take long today) and thinking of the projects I do around the house and I think that's about what I have in my tool box. When my husband(then boyfriend)gave me my Craftsman stocked tool box many years ago at Christmas, some of my friends thought it was quite weird, but for a single lady living on her own, it was perfect.

It would be cool to see someone's nose freeze off....

It's a chilly 36 here today with windchills of 31. Tonight we'll have a low of 23 and finally get a break tomorrow with temps reaching 51. Not a lot of sympathy out there for me, huh? How 'bout you, GaMom. You feel my pain, don't you?

My dad is a bus driver in Northern Wisconsin. School was cancelled today because of low temps. Right now they're at -6/-26windchill.

I'm off to get a 'building warming' gift for my friend. No more rent, woo hooooo. Her new dojo opens next week and we're having a big to do. Being a mechanic and general handy man, I'm pretty confident I know how to fill a tool box with useful stuff. That's the gift, a well stocked tool box. I'm putting in: hammer, screwdrivers (standard & phillips), wrenches, pliers, allen wrenches, tape measure, utility knife, picture hanging kit, duct tape, electrical tape, stud finder, level. Am I missing anything?
