Do a lot of people do these things? I mentioned the week at our Board Meeting and everyone laughed. It's pretty unheard of for the PTO to spend any funds on volunteers at our school. The school does a dinner thing for all the volunteers for the school, but the PTO has never done anything specifically for ours.

I don't know what kind of budget you have but you can do breakfast one day, lunch the next, any maybe go out to dinner. You can buy everyone a nice coffee cup or mug and fill it with candy or other treats and wrap them nicely in colored cellophane. All of those items can be purchased at the dollar store.

I need some ideas for us to do on volunteer week, last year we mailed out thank you cards to all volunteers and invited them to the awards assembly and presented them with a certificate of thanks , it was good but looking for something a little different to do this year
