Our school did this a couple of years ago and called it "Coffee and Kleenex." The turn out was pretty low because it was a very busy day for everyone. They have not done it again.
We will call ours the BIG STEP reception. We also tried to avoid the negative of boo-hoo for our first year until our famlies know what it is all about. I also searched the internet using google and boohoo breakfast and found lots of ideas and several other poems. Good Luck!
We are planning our first "boohoo breakfast" this year! I have a some calls concerning the name "BOOHOO". Some of the board is afraid it might sound negative. I also mentioned the cheers and tears breakfast but ran into the same problem. Any suggestions?
