Thanks for that info. I'm going to include it in our newsletter. What a great way to keep kids reading over the summer, encourage public library use, and keep kids geared for the AR program.
Look into bookadventure.com . It is sponsored by Sylvan Learning and is similar to the Accelerated Reader quizzes. Children register and complete quizzes online and earn points which can then be redeemed for various prized (my fav is a 6 mo. subscription to Highlights for Children magazine) This can be done thru the school or individually at home. I was telling our librarian about Book It with Pizza Hut. Last year I saw another program that offered kids rewards for reading books. Can anyone help with names of other companies that do this [img]smile.gif[/img]
