Barnes and Noble had a summer reading program last year. You had to read a certain number of books and then you could pick a book from their free list.

I don't know if they have Commerce Banks in Michigan. I'll look it up. Thanks for the information.

Commerce Bank runs a summer reading program for account holders. I think they provide a reading list, and if the student completes it they deposit $10 in your account.

I'm in Michigan. There in the process of building a Culver's semi-close to me. I don't think it will be opened before school gets out but I can pass it on. Thanks

We have several businesses in our community that have reading programs. Depending on what area of the country(these are predominantly Midwestern businesses) you are in, some may be available to you:

Culver's Restaurants-Scoopy's Reading Club
Casey's General Store-Race Into Reading
Happy Joe's Pizza

Also, check with local professional or semi-professional sport teams and your public library.

Remember too that just because a business doesn't have their own formal reading incentive program doesn't mean they wouldn't support one if you put it together. Make some calls!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
