Meeting Time?

We always hold our meetings the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM our meetings take about 45 minutes to an hour and we welcome people to bring kids. Our other school in town meets at 3:00 PM and they hardly ever get anyone who goes as most folks cannot get there by 3:00. One suggestion is to send out a survey giving a few options of times and see what works best for your group.

We do Tuesday nights once a month. Seems to be the best night for most people.

our meetings are always held at 6:30 on either a Monday or Wenesday night, this year it has been more Wednesday. Other schools around here have tried the right after school time, they get some staff but not the parents. I guess you have to ask yourself which you would rather have, yes we have a couple of really good staff reps this year so we still have them represented as well as the prinicpal always being there. Some schools alternate between afternoons and evenings, it comes down to which works best for your school.

What time, day and how often do your PTO meetings get together?

It just seems for us whether we have an afternoon meeting or an evening meeting we lose somebody. Being the teachers in the evening or the parents in the afternoon.

Our meeting are the first Tuesday at every month at 6:30pm. I am not sure how to fix this or if it can be "fixed"
