Love this!!! OMGH!! Not sure how this would work in our community (city laws on gambling etc) but as long as it's kept clean and honest, sounds like fun to me!
With all the hoopla with Texas hold'em and WSOP this past year, we are planning on having the 1st ever poker tournament, Buy in will be 30.00, with 100% of buy-in, (after cost of finger sandwiches, sodas and plaques) going to PTO. We are planning a Winner and runner-up plaque. 24 or 32 hand tournament.
The tournament is open to any teachers, staff, and immediate PTO family members. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER! I anticipate making 1500.00+ with this one!
I personally own the chips and have dealers that will "volunteer" their time!
