ticket design

We order our rolls of ticket from a supplier, choosing a more destinctive color/design than the generic ones anyone can buy at a party store. (But still, just stock designs, not custom print.) The prices vary dramatically from $3 - $10 per roll of 2000, so check around. I think we generally pay $4-$5 per roll.

I know we've ordered from National Ticket and PDCORP, but I remember them having a wider variety last time I looked. Or maybe they had more when I called than what was listed on the website. I think last time we went with balloons on a hot pink ticket.

If you still want to design your own and need help, email me. (But I think cutting them out will drive you nuts. We do our own drawing tickets and only print a few hundred and THAT's a signifcant amount of work.)

We do have a roll of tickets that I thought we were going to use. Last year we put a stamp on them so that we could tell that they belonged to us. Unfortunetly not everyone looked to make sure and we ended up with other tickets. That's why we are going this route. I don't think they realized that they will need to be cut. I did use the text box in word to make some, but they are BORING. I have them 11 rows of 3. I am considering using a punch hole system that I just thought of while writing this. I could use something like a standard business card size and have them punch out the number of tickets required. Now I just have to figure out how to wrap around the numbers on the card. What did I just get myself into???

Those rolls of tickets only cost $3-$5 for 2000. Unless you only need a very few, the time and energy creating the design, and especially cutting them out, could be enormous.

But, if you want to move forward, just use one of the label templates in Word, depending on what size, how many you want. You can design one any way you want then copy and paste it into the other cells. Note, the templates are actually a table in which the cell borders are clear. For this, you'll want to change them so you get a faint border to give you a line to cut on.

Post again with more details as to what you want. (Size, how many per page, how many total.)

Good luck!

Has anyone ever created their own tickets? Does anyone have a template of one that I could use? I understand Word, so it would be helpful if it were in that program. Or does anyone know how I can make my own? I want to make ones similar to the tear off 25 cent tickets they use at fairs.

Thank you very much.
