Our Jog-a-thon brought in a little over $6,500 this year, all pledges are deposited into the PTO account. We spend about $500 to conduct the event, and that includes prizes -- $200 for the classroom that brings in the most pledges, $100 for the second place classroom, a pizza party for the third place classroom and an ice cream party for 4th place. The remainder of the budget is spent on supplies--balloons for decorations, water for the kids as they jog, copy paper for flyers, etc.

A walk a thon around our school. During school time with the gym teacher. She is wonderful and helps with this every year.
