Looking for 100% Profit Fundraiser Ideas

THE easiest and most fun way our school raises fast cash is a dress down day. Granted we have uniforms so it's an easy $1000 ($1 per person) to be allowed to wear jeans but we have even had a crazy hair or hat day, sport team day (home of Broncs, Nuggets and Rockies) and for next year I'd like to see if kids would like to participate in a coustume contest for halloween by paying a buck.

A little advetising and that is it! $20 in paper is my expense.

Also, there are resturants that will allow you to have a Family Night without selling cards! Chick-Fil-A; Cold Stone Creamery; UNO pizza; Joe's Crab Shack; and Fuddruckers are just a few that will donated a percentage of their reciepts for that one night back to your school!!! EASY! We love Chick because you can go through the drive thru and your total counts!

If I can make a buck wihtout selling anything (daughter of a salesman) I'm there!!!!

Contact your local Mazzios or Sonic. They have punch cards, you print as many as you need. 100% profit. 122 kids raised $1200, at 5 dollars a pop in the first 3 weeks of school.

What kinds of things do you do at your festival?? Our festival includes a King, Queen, Prince, Princess competition that raises the biggest part of our 16,000-18,000 dollars.

Well we can only have one fundraiser for the whole year, which makes it hard enough as it is, but our main focus is the $10,000 we need to raise to get our playground up to code. We have K-4th grade students. We have very poor parent participation / volunteers. It is always the same people that pitch in every year. Typically we do either a Fall Festival / Silent Auction or cookie dough / savers cards and all we net with our 450 student enrollment is about $4,000. Keeping that in mind I was curious about the readathon, walkathon, jogathon type programs or something similar.

It depends on what kind of money you want to raise,
A good old fashon bake sale can do well if you do it in the right place,
A huge all school rummage sale can do well and it is all donated junk/stuff from your families,
our chool does one, 3 days, unpack, upack open to the school and day 3 is open to the public, we use the gym, lots of tables and lots of man power to sort stuff, we also run a bake sale at the same time. All profit for the school.

Have a local holiday craft show with venders that pay for the space to show their stuff.

Solicit for on "good item and run a raffle"

Lots of things you can do that don't require selling door to door. and you can put the man power to better use to support your school.

Thanks for the correction PTOhank...good deal on the house. Of course the lessons were donated to us by the Karate instructor for FREE and the families that participated paid 20 dollars.
This is a tough crowd....d
