I guess I'm not alone in my sorrow. My group started our scrip program with National Scrip Center, which folded. Then we went to Scrip Advantage but have now had items on backorder since August. We have demanded our money back and been promised repeatedly that we'd have our refund in 24 hours and still, weeks later, nothing. I have angry parents and a struggling program. What used to be a huge money-maker for us is generating nothing but heartache. Has ANYONE received a refund from Scrip Advantage??????

We too have problems with Scrip Advantage. We started with scrip last school year and I was very pleased with SA until June. I placed my last order Sept 22 and more than half of the scrip were on B/O and I am still waiting despite numerous promises that they will be delivered soon(before beginning of November). That I was told Oct 25th and I am still waiting and waiting and...

We are pulling out of SA. Our school is located in Charlotte, NC area. Several schools in our area use United Scrip. Don't know of any using Great Lakes. Any thoughts, recommedations, warnings, etc?

We too have been having problems with Scrip Advantage. For two years they were great, now more than half of what's been ordered since September is backordered. Many promises have been made about deliveries which never happen. I spoke with a rep today (after 40 minutes on hold) who admitted they have no idea when the items will be in. They said they would refund our money. Based on what I've read I shouldn't hold my breath.

I have also used SA without incident for 2 years. Now, not only have we got a large number of backorders pending, BUT... they are NOT answering their phones. Has anybody had any contact with them this week????

We have used Scrip Avantage with no problem for many years. This year, I have had B/O since July. By the beginning of Oct, we had so many B/O's that I was having unhappy parents. So I cancelled all our orders on Oct 1st and was suppose to receive my credit within two days. It is now one month later and I have not received my 11,000.00 dollars. I have switched to Great Lakes for everything now. I have to pay a little more in S/H if you want it sooner than 5 to 7 days. I have not had any luck with anyone at Scrip Advantage in getting my money back. I have received nothing but promises that are never kept. Beware!!!! Cancel your orders and try to get your money back. Someone else is currently trying to get $25,000.00 from them, as well. I am throughly discusted and outrage that they can keep our private school money that we have worked hard for.
